Formerly an accountant with an international NGO,  Florence transitioned to entrepreneurship with her flagship line, Frozen Isle, specializing in fresh frozen African Indigenous and contemporary vegetables. Her initiatives have significantly reduced post-harvest waste, capturing a notable market share and employing 17 Kenyans.

Florence currently supplies key retail chains in Kenya such as Naivas Supermarkets, Carrefour and Chandarana FoodPlus.

With WIDU support, Florence acquired essential equipment, enhancing production efficiency, extending product shelf life, and honing technical skills through business model canvas and financial literacy training.
