In celebration of International Women’s Day (#IWD25), WIDU.africa is organizing its first-ever Forum for African Women Entrepreneurs on Monday, 10 March. This 100% online event will provide a unique platform for women entrepreneurs across the continent to exchange ideas, share experiences, and expand their networks.
A Program Focused on Inspiration and Exchange
The WIDU Forum will take place in two sessions:
First session in French: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Ghana) / 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (Ethiopia & Kenya)
Second session in English: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Togo) / 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Tunisia & Cameroon)
During these sessions, six women entrepreneurs who have benefited from the WIDU programme will share their experiences and success stories. Representing the six participating countries—Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Togo, and Tunisia—their testimonials will shed light on the challenges women face in launching and growing their businesses, the solutions they have implemented, and the opportunities provided by the WIDU programme
In addition, WIDU coaches—experts in supporting women entrepreneurs—will offer practical advice and strategic guidance on overcoming key barriers, such as access to finance, access to information, or access to essential resources for sustainable business growth.
An Event Open to All Women Entrepreneurs
Whether you're already running a business or just considering entrepreneurship, this forum is for you! A Strong Commitment to Gender Equality and Economic Empowerment
