Alongside the official launch of phase II of the WIDU.africa project, the first edition of the WIDU awards in Tunisia will be held on February 29 at Pavillon des Baies de Gammarth, in Tunis. On this occasion, WIDU will be highlighting the exceptional innovation of 18 outstanding entrepreneurs, in 6 distinct categories.
Namely: Tech & Innovation, Women's Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, Handicrafts, Women Call and the Green Entrepreneurship Award sponsored by our partner Microcred Tunisie.
Each of these categories will reward entrepreneurs who have not only demonstrated excellence in their respective fields, but who have also contributed to the evolution of the entrepreneurial landscape in Tunisia through creation of value, the innovation of their activities or creation of jobs in all regions of Tunisia.
Winners in each category will receive prizes ranging from 5,000 DT for first place, 3,000 DT for second and 1,000 DT for third. These awards represent not only a testimonial of recognition, but also a financial incentive to support and encourage the continuation of their entrepreneurial activities.
