Award ceremony to celebrate successful Ghanaian entrepreneurs – on 29 June 2023 in Accra
WIDU.africa's second edition of the WIDU Award ceremony will take place in Accra on 29th of June, 6pm (GMT - Ghana) // 8pm (GMT+2 - Central European Summer Time). Interested parties can watch the ceremony live on WIDU YouTube and Facebook.
Did you know that Ghanaians in the diaspora send approximately 4.5 billion $ to Ghana every year? These money transfers amount to 6% of the Ghanaian GDP!
Going beyond the numbers, the WIDU Award Ghana aims to showcase how development cooperation can engage the diaspora to support small and micro enterprises and present inspiring stories of change and business transformation by small entrepreneurs in Ghana. The winners can look forward to prize money and marketing advisory for their business.
