Last June 16th we celebrated the International Day of Family Remittances (IDFR) and took take a moment to recognize the vital role that the diaspora plays in supporting their families and communities through remittances. Through WIDU, these remittances are transformed into private investment for the development of micro and small businesses, which drives positive and durable impact on a broader scale.
In this spirit, we’re pleased to share a special edition of our WIDU newsletter, which highlights our recent activities, as well as interesting figures on the potential of the diaspora’s financial contributions, particularly within the scope of WIDU.africa.
